So the engine 3.4-litre flat-six of the Carrera yielded a maximum power of 300 hp at 6,800 rpm and a torque of 350 Nm, figures with which unshielded conventional units achieve good records of 5.2 seconds in 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 280 km/h.
