However, in 2018, Porsche slammed its fist on the table and broke a record that had been unbeaten and undefeated for 35 years. The absolute record back. Of all the on-board laps you can watch, none is going to be as absolutely crazy as this one. Stefan Bellof’s 1983 record was 6 minutes and 11 seconds, and was achieved with a Porsche 956. Porsche waited until 2018 to break the record again, with a Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo developed for endurance racing, but specially modified for this record.
