Get ready for a vein dose of nostalgia. On July 7, Claudio Zampolli, the creator – along with Giorgio Moroder – of the Cizeta-Moroder V16T, passed away. Designed by Marcello Gandini, it was the supercar that the Lamborghini Diablo couldn’t be because of budget constraints imposed by Chrysler. It was excessive even for the time: It had four retractable headlights and its engine was a V16 located in a central-transversal position. A unique machine well deserved a very special review, recorded in 1989 by an Australian TV show.
The review is clearly from another era. It almost seems like another world, even though barely 30 years separate us from this video recorded on magnetic tape.
