The end of the Bugatti Chiron is getting closer and in fact the 100 units that remain to be manufactured already have an owner, however one last Chiron has just been discovered and it has everything to become the most expensive and sought-after unit of the French hypercar. In just a few weeks the Bugatti Chiron Profilée will be auctioneda one-off that did not arrive in time to become a production model, but is now looking for an owner at the rate of a price that could break all known sales records for a modern Bugatti.
It will be next February 1 when RM Sotheby’s auctions the only existing unit of the Bugatti Chiron Profilée. We are talking about an agreement reached between Bugatti and RM Sotheby’s to put a finishing touch to the Chiron saga, since the Profilée will be the only Chiron manufactured in one-off format and the last of the versions presented on this model.
The Chiron Profilée has the best of the Pur Sport, but under a GT approach that allows it to be more usable
Bugatti introduced us to the Chiron Profilee just a few days ago as a conceptual exercise that it intended to bring to production, but which later did not receive the green light when the quota of 500 units planned for the entire Chiron range was completed before. With no intention of increasing the production of the Chiron with another 30 units of the Profilée, Bugatti made the decision not to hide this version, culminating its development and removing it. to auction in one-off format so that it becomes one of the most exclusive pieces he has manufactured.
In the Chiron Profilee we discover a very high-performance GT vision that sits just below the Chiron Pur Sport, a special series limited to 60 units that optimized the Chiron for use on the circuit. In this way, in this sort of more usable Chiron we find a specific aerodynamic package where the air intakes on the front wheel arches, the new larger front grill, new alloy wheels or the new type spoiler duck tailalthough keeping the prominent rear diffuser or the technical scheme with the 8.0 W16 Quad-Turbo developing 1,500 hp and being capable of reaching 6,900 rpm (200 rpm more than the conventional Chiron).
Its configuration is also specific from the point of view of personalization, since this Bugatti will be auctioned completely finished and even with the filming already done (396 km including the 360 km of mandatory test). Of course, given its GT approach, Bugatti “Comfort” seats are installed in the Chiron Profilée.

Since the Chiron Profilée is developed on the configuration of the Chiron Pur Sport, the set-up and performance are maintained, which means that we are facing the fastest Chiron in the range by doing 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds0-200 km/h in 5.5 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 12.4 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 380 km/h.
But access to such an exclusive hypercar is not within the reach of all budgets. RM Sotheby’s has set the sale price of the Bugatti Chiron Profilée between 4.2 and 5.5 million eurosalthough the final amount could be even higher considering that it is the last chance to buy yourself a new and truly unique Bugatti Chiron.
