Less and less until the successor to the Lamborghini Aventador is presented in society. Rumors spread, just like spy photos and videos that seek to answer all the doubts about the next model from Sant’Agata Bolognese. The latest images come from the YouTube channel Varryx and show the rear of the successor to the Lamborghini Aventador: despite the camouflage, it is full of novelties.

The recording gives credence to the alleged design patents for the new supercar that appeared a few days ago. They indicate, at the same time, that there would only be a few months left for the expected presentation.
What does the camouflage reveal?
The prototype, covered by the classic camouflage layer, was recently recorded near the Sant’Agata Bolognese facilities. The video does not give us the opportunity to see it from the front, it only captures the rear of the successor to the Lamborghini Aventador: enough to confirm what we already knew so far. The new model will adopt a different design from its predecessor, although it will still be easily identifiable as a Lamborghini.
Despite the presence of the camouflage, it is possible to recognize the engine cover: under it there will be an atmospheric V12 associated with a hybrid system on which, for now, there is no data. Located behind a small vertical rear window, it has six slots whose mission is to cool the engine. There are also a couple of arches or flying buttresses on the sides of the rear and attract attention the design of the third brake light: it follows the shape of the roof.

Without a doubt, the center of attention is located, just below. We are talking about the exhaust outlets: the four that the successor to the Lamborghini Aventador has are housed within two hexagonal tubes and have been located in the center line of the rear. They are framed by the LED taillights and in line with the tailgate.
By relocating the exhausts from the corners of the bumper to the center line of the vehicle, Lamborghini has been able to expose much of the huge rear tires. At the bottom you can see a bumper and a diffuser with the usual angular and radical shapes of the Italian house.
First trimester
This same week, Lamborghini confirmed that the presentation of the model that is called to occupy the gap left by the Aventador will take place at some point in the first quarter of 2023: It will not be in the summer or after the summer period, as had been speculated up to now. If the leaks respect those of Sant’Agata Bolognese, it will be then when we know the details of its design, its mechanical configuration… and the name, which they still keep secret.
