The cheap SUV, with a good boot and ECO label, which for €16,594 will continue to be a great purchase in 2023

If we could remember this year that is ending today for anything, as far as the automobile market in Spain is concerned, it would be an increase in the prices of new cars (and second hand) considerable, but also due to the irruption of brands and products that have eased the market, with prices for all audiences and for all budgets.

And the brand that, on its own merits, has managed to position itself in the market, occupying the place once dominated by Dacia, has been MG. The only one capable of offering a spacious and well-equipped SUV for €12,950. Which is precisely the price range in which the Dacia Duster was located until last year.

However, Is an SUV like this for €16,594 still a recommendable purchase?

MG has taken over from Dacia, but is the Dacia Duster still a good buy?

An SUV with an ECO label for €16,594

With a good trunk, especially for its compact size, the Dacia Duster starts at €16,594, with all available promotions and financing the purchase. If we want to pay in cash or request a loan with another financial institution, the price is €17,740.

The best thing about this car is that, as standard, and in its cheapest version, it has a bifuel enginewhich can run interchangeably with gasoline and gas (LPG), with 100 HP of power and ECO label.

The most economical version is already equipped with black roof bars and a rear bench that can be divided and folded into two pieces. If we want some more equipment (we probably will), the Expression line for €19,590 in cash includes manual climate control, entertainment equipment, and speed regulator and limiter.

The Dacia Duster can be configured with more powerful gasoline engines of 130 and 150 hp.

Will it still be an interesting purchase in 2023?

With a more equipped and much cheaper MG ZS, the Dacia Duster has lost its status as the leader of the budget SUV. If MG is already selling more than 1,000 cars a month in Spain, the Duster in recent months has been around 700 monthly registrations.
