If you are a true petrolhead, you like the classics. Classic cars and classic sports cars have something special. They are cars in which there is no driving assistance, in many cases there are no comfort elements, and of course, no active or adaptive system that makes it easier to live with the car on a daily basis. Classic sports cars are unbalanced, uncomfortable, noisy and politically incorrect cars. Y this video will make you love them more strongly – and it will convert you, if you think that a modern sports car is better.
The video takes as an example a Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, one of the best sports cars ever created by Porsche. A car that we could define as the predecessor of the GT3 family of the Porsche 911. With “only” 210 CV and an exceptional lightness, was one of the best sports cars of the early seventies. Of course, he had no power steering, and no automated elements. A vehicle under our complete control, pure behavior, exciting and absolutely visceral.
Of course, a modern Porsche 911 is much more efficient, much faster, much more reliable and more suitable for everyday use. But who wants that? Who wants that when they can enjoy an absolutely visceral and pure driving experience? The video lets us see perfectly the character of the Carrera RS: while the engine is increasing its mechanical symphony, the letters are little by little drawing up the list of equipment that we can find in a modern 911, and which the classic, fortunately, does without.
