Whether it is to travel, or for day to day, the large SUV – between 4.5 and 4.6 meters in length – stand as a interesting alternative for those looking for a spacious and comfortable car. But unfortunately we are talking about vehicles that normally exceed €25,000, and even €30,000.
Let’s think that at the moment, a SEAT Ateca, which is a model from a lower segment, is already at €24,540. While the SEAT Tarraco, which is already longer and more spacious than the model in question, starts at €33,660.
So the most interesting options, in SUV above 4.5 metersthey come from the hand of MG Motor and its Korean alternatives, somewhat more expensive, from Hyundai and Kia.
Large and well-equipped SUV for €23,000
The MG HS is a large SUVwhich has an access version with a 162 hp turbocharged gasoline engine. At 4.57 meters in length, it is 21 centimeters longer than a SEAT Ateca, although its boot capacity is slightly less than this (463 liters for the MG and more than 500 liters for the Ateca). - The Hyundai Tucson part of the €26,525being more expensive, and somewhat shorter, but also more spacious and a high-quality product that, in our opinion, is one of the references in its category.
- The Kia Sportage starts from €27,540 and sharing base, technology and engines with the Tucson is another of the most interesting models in this category, but also more expensive than the HS.
- In the market there are two other really cheap options that, in our opinion, are below the quality perceived in the MG and especially in the Hyundai and the Tucson, which are the DFSK Glory 580 from €23,775 and the SWM G01 from €22,495two products that are also made in China.
